I am a nerd. I'm not only a nerd, I'm also damn proud of it. I live with the firm belief that geeks, nerds, and the anal retentive have the ability to become some of the most incredible bakers around, and one day I plan on proving it to the rest of the world. I currently work as a cake decorator for an in-store bakery and tech support for people who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near an MP3 player.  This is to pay bills while I try to figure out what I'd really like to do (which I do do, but on a limited basis). That leaves me very little time for my other loves in my life... such as my husband, computers, baking, web comics, gardening, and reading anything I can get my hands on. This blog was supposed to only be about culinary subjects, but that's changed as my life consists of so many other things...although food IS pretty cool.
